Multi-table tournament (MTT) leaderboard tournaments. Famous players, football and Hollywood

Launches a monthly Poker League in which each player will be able to test and evaluate their skills, as well as win a share of the $35,000 prize pool. This league is divided into four main levels: Elementary, High School, University and Masters.

As you probably already understood from the names of these levels, they can be achieved by fulfilling certain conditions, as well as by meeting a certain level of professional skills of the poker player. Regular free tournaments with small prize pools are held for each level of the Poker League. When participating in them, players who are in the prize zone earn a certain number of points, thanks to which they move up the League table. At the end of the month, the best players receive substantial cash rewards based on their achievements.

Poker League Levels at PokerStars

As we have already said, the PokerStars Poker League consists of four levels, which we will talk about in more detail below. After studying the information about each of them, you yourself will understand what level you meet.

Level Elementary

This is the entry level and players do not need to fulfill any conditions to participate in its tournaments. Players who have qualified for higher levels can also participate in Elementary level tournaments, but they will not be able to participate in the Elementary level table. Within this level, six tournaments are held every day from the 5th to the 30th of the month, the prize fund of each of which is $10.

At the end of each month, the top 2,000 participants at the Elementary level will qualify for the High School level. In addition, a $1,200 prize pool will be distributed among the top 500 participants, and the top 10 players will each receive one ticket to the Big Bang tournament with a $5,000 guarantee.

Each High School participant who takes place from 801 to 2,000 will remain at this level for the next month. The remaining players will be demoted to the Elementary level. In addition, the top 300 players of the month will receive a share of the $2,800 prize pool.

PokerStars hosts the largest variety of poker tournaments in the world and is the perfect place to improve your skills. Just yesterday, good news appeared for fans of online tournaments. The largest poker room, starting in 2015, will present an updated and improved leaderboard for MTT players. Over the course of the year, more than $800 thousand will be paid to the best of the best!

If the annual race is beyond your strength, you can safely take part in the fight for the weekly TOP. The best player of the week, in addition to the chance to win $1000, gets an excellent opportunity to compete with one of the members of the professional team. The most interesting thing about this is that the player himself chooses which discipline he will “beat” Team PokerStars Pro.

Have you planned a summer vacation? Then you should reconsider your plans, since the Stars have made sure that you won’t be bored in the summer either. In addition to the overall annual leaderboard, the three summer months will have their own separate leaderboard, and the prizes for each month will rise to $100,000.

Returning to the annual TOP, it is worth noting that all participants who take 41-100 places are guaranteed to receive a ticket to a free tournament with a prize fund of $75,000. The same tickets will go to players in 11-40 places on the leaderboard, but in addition there is also a package tournament tokens with a total value of $5,000. Tickets to the Sunday Million, as well as everything listed above, will be received by participants from 4th to 10th place.

The top three best players with tickets will have the opportunity to attend the Sunday Million for free for an entire year, as well as all major online tournament series. On top of that, they will be able to compete for a $75,000 prize in a freeroll that will become available after receiving a ticket. Well, the most important thing is that each of the top three will receive a cash prize of $15,000, $25,000 and $35,000, respectively, for their places in the top.

What are the benefits for players?

The advantages include the following:

A large number of players at any time;
the presence of a large number of professionals among the players;
exceptionally high functionality of the software;
a large number of freerolls and tournaments, a significant amount of prizes up for grabs;
low ($10) minimum deposit;
the opportunity to participate in the world's largest weekly tournament, the prize fund of which is one and a half million dollars;
availability of Russian version;
a large number of bonuses and promotions;
the opportunity to take part in the selection for “live” tournaments.

What are the disadvantages?

In addition, there is a small but annoying drawback - frequent software updates. In this sense, PokerStars reminds me of Adobe :) However, perhaps also thanks to constant updates, I have never noticed that the game server was inaccessible from Russia. This happened with some other poker rooms, however, very rarely.

Convenient client on the mirror of the official website

The software is distinguished by its high quality and high level of security, which it guarantees to its users. Both graphics and functionality are of a high level. The convenience of the game is largely determined by the high speed of the software. The user has the opportunity to record information about other players, keep game statistics, view data about other players and the size of the bank, the number of hands, etc. Using the program, you can not only find other users, but also transfer money to them. The game can be analyzed based on statistics that are provided for the last 200 hands played by the player.

Statistics on the number of players

In terms of the number of players who gather during peak hours, PokerStars confidently holds the lead in the poker industry. According to various sources, this number reaches 60,000 people, and during tournaments it exceeds 150,000.

Real reviews about withdrawing money

All players note that the poker room has no equal in the quality of software, number of games and tournaments. PokerStars boasts the largest pool of players in the world, so you can find a game or tournament to your liking at any time of the day or night.

However, like any other large company, the support service and general attitude towards customers is, to put it mildly, not up to par. You will find a lot of comments about controversial situations and misunderstandings between the player and the support service.

However, you will not find objective data about poker room fraud in terms of withdrawing money. Personally, in 5 years of close cooperation with this poker room, I have not encountered a delay in payments exceeding 48 hours. As a rule, I withdraw money as soon as I have accumulated a withdrawal amount exceeding $1000. I bet on Neteller, the money usually arrives the next day.

First deposit bonus

PokerStars provides a 100% bonus on your first deposit if the deposit does not exceed $600.

Level of poker room players

In games for real money at high limits, the level of opponents is exceptionally high, since famous players, members, are often present at the tables. But on the other hand, the poker room offers a large number of tables with low limits, where the level of opponents is often quite low. If at high limits viewing the flop is a very small amount, then at low limits it can reach 50-60%.

Suggested Games

Games offered include traditional Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi-Lo, Five Card Draw, Seven Card Stud, Razz, H.O.R.S.E., H.O.S.E. You can play for both real money and virtual money.

Freerolls and free tournaments

PokerStars offers one of the largest selections of freerolls among other poker rooms. Visitors to the poker room have the opportunity to take part in free tournaments, as well as tournaments with a minimum buy-in. Closed freerolls are also held, in which players who have scored a certain number of points can participate, which significantly increases the level of the game - this is especially important for beginners, for whom, in fact, freerolls are intended, allowing them to get real money for a real game.

Tournaments for experienced players

Stars is considered one of the best rooms in terms of opportunities to participate in tournaments. The first place among them is occupied by: its prize fund is $1 million. The World Series of Poker tournaments, as well as the Caribbean Adventure tournaments, are very popular. The wide variety of tournaments and their participants includes tournaments with buy-ins of a few cents, as well as tournaments that cost several hundred (up to $500) to enter. Numerous satellites allow you to compete for a place in such “live” events as the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour, etc. At any given time, the number of players participating in tournaments reaches 20,000 people.

Rake above average

The rake is slightly above average, which is especially noticeable when playing at low stakes. When playing at high stakes, the rake decreases.

Famous players, football and Hollywood

A large number of famous players take part in the work of the poker room, who can always be seen at the tables. The room's team includes Chris Moneymaker, Greg Rymer, Daniel Negreanu, Alex Kravchenko, Isabelle Mercier, Ivan Demidov.

And among the celebrities collaborating with PokerStras are Kevin Hart, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and many equally famous players.

Methods for depositing and withdrawing money

Deposits and withdrawals of funds when playing Poker Stars for real money can be made using the Webmoney system or a credit card. Other methods for depositing and withdrawing funds include bank transfer, check, Western Union, Moneta.Ru, MoneyBookers, etc. It is worth noting that withdrawing money to webmoney usually takes several hours and is carried out even on weekends (unlike Full Tilt).

Where is the best place to download software?

You can download the software for free either by clicking on the link below, or from the official sites: pokerstars.com ( pokerstars com) - the official site for playing for real money, or pokerstars.net (there is no PokerStars) - a site for playing without money. The link below leads to the official website of the poker room.

Current website mirror

Today, it is a generally accepted fact that the PokerStars poker room is the best place where you will always find the best online Texas Hold'em tournaments. If you want to loudly declare yourself, demonstrate your knowledge and skills of the game, then you have a direct path to the leaderboard of multi-table tournaments. Those players who can get into the TOP 15% of prize places based on the results of simple multi-table tournaments will be awarded special leader points. At the same time, the amount of points awarded will directly depend on the buy-in, the number of players who took part, as well as the place you took. More information about scoring formulas can be found here.

Weekly leaderboard

The weekly leaderboard only takes into account your 10 best results that you were able to achieve during tournaments in the time period from 8:00 a.m. Sunday to 7:59 a.m. Saturday Moscow time.

The player with the most game points automatically gets the opportunity to play head-to-head with one of the Team PokerStars PRO players on the following Sunday. The winner retains the right to choose the type of poker he wants to play. The match itself takes place at 22:00 (Moscow time) on Sunday. The amount at stake is $1,000. If a Team PokerStars Pro player wins, the amount is carried over to the next week, increasing the jackpot.

Monthly leaderboard

This table will only take into account the 20 best results of your tournaments, which were from 8 am on the first day of the month to 07:59 am on the last day of the month. The indicated time is Moscow.

Those players who were able to take the first 200 places in the standings share the winnings of $30,000 among themselves. Moreover, the winner of the monthly standings becomes the owner of $5,000. Among other things, all players who managed to reach the TOP 1000 at the end of the month receive from PokerStars free invitation tickets to a freeroll held for the best players according to the tournament leaderboard. The amount up for grabs is $20,000.

More detailed information on the monthly leaderboard can be found by following the link.

Yearly leaderboard

This table will only take into account your 100 best results from tournaments in which you took part from 8 am on the first day of the year to 07:59 am on the last day of the year. The time indicated is Moscow.

Attention. According to some changes made by managementPokerStars to the structure of the table, prizes for annual TLT tournaments will not be awarded between players until the changes are approved.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a professional or just an amateur, or maybe even a complete beginner. By playing tournament tables, you not only gain experience in practice, but also points, which can ultimately help you win bigger and more substantial winnings. Don't be afraid to participate and win!

Good afternoon, dear forum users. I have never published blogs with my tournament results, for a number of my own subjective reasons. This time I decided to deviate from my rules. This was not done in order to boast about one’s successes (“cry” about failures). The writing of this blog was dictated for one purpose - it should help me not to abandon this “race” on the third or fourth day, as has happened more than once. I really hope that daily entries in this blog will force me to keep my obligations to you and skate all seven days of this “race”

Day 1

So, the “Race to” called “Weekly Multi-Table Tournament Leaderboards (Micro Buy-ins)” has begun. The start was made on Monday, January 9th at about 15:00 Moscow time. Naturally, my potential competitors in the “race” did not waste any time and have already played a certain number of tournaments. By this point, a clear leader had already emerged in the “race”.
Sorry that the first screen was taken not after the first finish at ITM, but a couple of hours later (I just couldn’t firmly decide for myself whether to participate in the “race” this week or postpone it to next).

About 12 hours of non-stop skating were spent on fruitless attempts to close the gap with the leader. It looks like “K1NGW1LL1AM” decided not to sleep at all on the first day and skate as many tournaments as possible. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t close my gap with him. I finished “Day 1” in a confident 2nd place, but with a strong desire to reduce my gap from the leader to 10-15 tournaments tomorrow..

Day 2

I managed to sleep only a few hours. A number of real-life obligations forced me to adjust my plans for the number of hours of sleep, and the start of the second day of the “race” was pushed back by several hours.

I honestly admit to you that before the start of “Day 2” I didn’t really want to look at the “Leader Tables”. My fears were caused by the fact that I really didn’t want to see the “jerk” “K1NGW1LL1AM” there. I was afraid that it was a bot and that it was skating non-stop. The fears were in vain. During the few hours of my absence, there were no significant changes in the Leaderboards.

The second day has begun - it couldn’t be worse. Out of a dozen tournaments, I got into ITM only once! I won’t go into detail about the quantity and quality of how I was “travelled.” It’s not the first day that everyone has been “behind their husband” and understands the disgusting but inevitable nature of these “side effects.” OK. “Day 2” has just begun, and stupid moves won’t surprise or frighten us for a long time. That's all for now.............
,,Yes... To say that yesterday I experienced all the delights of poker variance is to say nothing. About two hours later, after the start of my first poker session yesterday, for fun, I even started counting hands lost/won in a “set to set” situation. When the score reached 7:2 not in my favor, I realized that I was already on deep tilt and simply turned off the computer, without even finishing the two open tournaments.

I resumed skating about two hours later. In my second poker session yesterday, I slightly changed my playing tactics. I have reduced the maximum number of tables that can be played at the same time. If on “Day 1” and in the first poker session yesterday I allowed myself to play up to seven tables at a time, then in my second poker session yesterday the permissible maximum dropped to four tables. I understood perfectly well that such a move would not allow me to close the gap with "K1NGW1LL1AM". But yesterday I simply didn’t see any other way out.

When I finished my second poker session yesterday (which was already this morning), my tournament prospects for the final victory in the “race” called “Weekly Multi-Table Leaderboards (micro buy-ins)” became even worse than after “ Day 1".

Yes, a change of tactics led to such a “sad” result of my race! But I was a little successful in another:

1. I finally found myself at the same table with “K1NGW1LL1AM” (maybe, of course, I had already found myself at the same table with him before, but due to the large number of tables I simply did not notice him). I finally looked at his playing tactics. I didn't see anything unusual in her. His tactic is maximum slowplay, with the goal of reaching ITM even with one tournament chip.

2. I finally made my first final table in this "race". Yes - the money is funny (but I ONLY play at micro-limits). Yes - I didn’t even get into the top three (on “Day 1” my best result was 2 tenths places).

Day 3

It's already late evening for me now. Ten pm has already passed by my watch, and I have never even launched the client yet, as part of “Day 3” of my “race”. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I can’t just play poker. And unfortunately, such a vital function as “Sleep” has not yet been figured out how to turn it off.

Yes... "K1NGW1LL1AM" has further increased the lead, and the competitors "from below" have already begun to approach.

I specifically do not voice my goals for today’s session, since I myself do not yet know what tournament tactics I will choose for today. Of course, today I tried to do everything to the maximum, so that at least the first half of tomorrow I would not be disturbed.

OK. Let's try to do something. See you tomorrow......

*************************************************

,,All. "Day 3" is over. Not much success. Nothing to brag about.

In terms of my tournament prospects for the final victory in the “race” - “deaf as in a tank.” "K1NGW1LL1AM" seems to roll day and night. It's impossible to get any closer. Am I even interested? Is he even sleeping?

In terms of the results of the tournaments played, the final tables are not the ones we would like.

Yes, today there are already three final tables, one of which I won. But these are not the final tables to brag about!

*************************************************

Starting from Day 4, I decided to change my tournament strategy again (I didn’t change it until the end of the “race”). Since my main goal was to win the "Race on" called "Weekly Multi-Table Tournament Leaderboards (Micro Buy-ins)", a difficult decision was made. I again decided to increase the maximum number of simultaneously played tables to 6. I took this step consciously. I understood perfectly well that such a strategy would not bring me great tournament success. Such tactics should focus not on quality, but on quantity.
When you roll so many tables at the same time, you have a whole series of difficulties that do not give you the opportunity to show good results. You simply cannot physically keep track of all your opponents on all tables. This leads to the fact that you simply cannot objectively assess the strength of your opponent's hand when it comes time to make a difficult decision. That is why, often, my tactics were simplified to the “fold/all-in” tactic. My main goal was to reach ITM in any way. Actually, it was a banal skating rink for quantity. Okay, I won’t bore you further and will simply post screenshots and bare statistics, from which you can draw all your own conclusions.

*************************************************

Day 4
