In case of equality of points between two or more teams, the teams’ places in the Championship table are determined:

- by the greatest number of victories in all Matches;

- based on the results of games between themselves (number of points, number of victories, difference between goals scored and goals conceded, number of goals scored, number of goals scored on a foreign field);

— the best difference between goals scored and goals conceded in all Games;

- the largest number of goals scored in all Games;

- by the largest number of goals scored on foreign fields in all Matches.

If all of the above indicators are absolutely equal, the teams’ places in the final standings are determined in an additional Match (tournament) between these teams.

If all of the above indicators are absolutely equal, the teams’ places in the current standings are determined by their placement in order, according to the places occupied in the previous season.

Position of teams in the standings of the Russian Championship 2017-2018

The table of the Russian Football Championship 2017-2018 shows that after 16 rounds the first two lines are occupied by Lokomotiv and Zenit - both places guarantee the right to participate in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2017-2018. Next comes Krasnodar - third place gives the team the right to play in the UEFA Champions League playoffs. Also in the European Cup zone are CSKA and Spartak. Other clubs, for example, Ural and Arsenal, also have good chances to play in the Europa League. The outsiders of the championship are Dynamo and SKA-Khabarovsk.

RFPL standings

A detailed table of the Russian Premier League will help you get acquainted with the current state of affairs in the national football championship. The density is very high, the difference in points between football teams is sometimes very small. Zenit is coming on the heels of Lokomotiv, and other clubs should not be discounted. The match calendar is designed so that clubs will play 20 rounds before the end of the year. The championship will then resume on March 4th. Who pleased this season

According to the results of the Russian Football Championship, Zenit performed well. Although sometimes the players of the club from St. Petersburg have failures, for example, a defeat at their home stadium with a score of 0:3 - more than 45 thousand fans were present at the match with Lokomotiv. The table of the Russian Football Championship 2017-2018 shows that the St. Petersburg team demonstrates a good game, taking second place. They conceded the fewest goals - only 9, and scored 23. They have a balanced squad, a wide bench and confident performances on the field by their leaders, which include Kokorin, Driussi, Paredesa, etc. The commissioning of the new lease increased the average attendance at home matches of the St. Petersburg team to 43,903 spectators - previously it was 18,084 spectators. At the moment, Zenit is in 31st place in the pan-European attendance indicator. In the Europa League, it is second only to Arsenal – 48,439 versus 59,359.

The Czech Republic football table has an interesting arrangement of teams. FC Krasnodar is performing well, occupying 4th position after 15 rounds with 24 points. The Krasnodar team is separated from 3rd place by just 1 point. The squad from Krasnodar recently beat Ska-Khabarovsk with a crushing score of 4:1. The Bulls' home arena is also filling up quite well. On average, just over 23 thousand fans come to each home match - the third figure after Zenit and Spartak.

Rostov could also be added to the list of teams that pleased the fans. Despite the departure of Erokhin, Poloz and a number of other important players during the off-season, the Rostov team showed excellent football at the start of the season. The performance of the games was good, because after the first seven rounds, L. Kuchuk’s charges were in the Champions League zone. However, then the team slowed down and moved from 3rd place to 11th.

The character of the Perm Amkar’s game is also surprising, but with a minus sign. The FPL (football Premier League) calendar was compiled successfully for the Permians, because... strong squads alternated with weak ones. Some experts predicted that the football players under the leadership of Gadzhi Gadzhiev would fight for access to the European Cup. Table of the Russian Football Championship 2017-2018: 12th place after 16 games. Only the best difference in goals scored and goals conceded separates Amkar from the spot.

Relegation contenders

The Russian football standings after 16 rounds demonstrate that one of the outsiders is a newcomer to the Premier League - Khabarovsk SKA-Khabarovsk. The club's statistics look depressing, with only 12 points scored - 2 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses. Another outsider in the 2017-2018 Russian Football Championship table was Dynamo Moscow. Relatively close to the relegation zone are Anzhi, Tosno, and Amkar.

Top scorers of the Russian Championship 2017-2018

Zenit forwards Alexander Kokorin and Krasnodar forwards Fedor Smolov scored the most goals - each had 8 goals. Moreover, the first had to play 16 matches for this, and the second only 10. Next comes Quincy Promes (Spartak) - 7, Luka Djordjevic (Arsenal) - 6, Alexey Miranchuk (Lokomotiv) - 6, Evgeniy Markov (Tosno) - 5, Manuel Fernandes (Lokomotiv) - 5, Eric Bikfalvi (Ural) - 5. Gekdeniz Karadeniz and Quincy Promes are ahead in assists - 5 each. The leader of the championship in the “goal+pass” system is Quincy Promes with 12 goals and assists.
