    The best cardio equipment for weight loss

    Cardio training promotes the fastest weight loss. These are activities that take place in an aerobic mode, during which the body is actively supplied with oxygen. Also in the process, breathing, heart rate and fat are burned.

    Cardio exercises include running, brisk walking, swimming, etc. You can exercise outside, but weather conditions usually do not allow you to do this all year round. Therefore, many people visit a gym equipped with cardio equipment.

    But if you don’t want to waste time visiting the gym and constantly buying a membership, you can buy a weight loss machine for home. In addition, people who are very overweight often find it easier to start exercising at home without prying eyes. To choose the most effective cardio machine, you need to familiarize yourself with the advantages and disadvantages of each of them.

    Treadmill

    The most famous exercise machine for weight loss is the treadmill. This is what is most often purchased for practicing at home. The treadmill imitates regular running or walking, but you can even train while watching your favorite TV series at any convenient time.

    Treadmill

    All treadmills are divided into mechanical and electronic.

    Mechanical

    The belt of mechanical exercise equipment is set in motion by muscular energy when a person begins to walk and run. Exercise on such a simulator is as close to natural conditions as possible. But there is also a negative point in this - during the training process, the belt moves jerkily, and the joints experience excessive stress.

    To solve this problem, some mechanical tracks are equipped with a magnetic system. Due to this, the movement of the canvas becomes smoother and easier.

    Mechanical treadmills are fairly inexpensive and usually take up less space than electronic ones. In addition, they can be installed anywhere, since they do not require connection to an outlet. But the functionality of such tracks is limited.

    Jumping rope for weight loss - benefits and harms, technique and training program

    Electronic

    In electronic treadmills, the belt is driven by an electric motor. Therefore, it moves evenly without creating unnecessary stress on the joints.

    Such tracks make it possible to set the required speed and adjust it as desired. They also usually have a lot of built-in programs. If you select one of them, the speed, incline level and other parameters will change automatically.

    But electronic tracks are much more expensive than mechanical ones. In addition, they are more bulky and take up a lot of space. They need to be installed so that the cord reaches the outlet.

    Criterias of choice

    When choosing a specific treadmill model, you should pay attention to the size of the belt. It should be wide enough to make it comfortable to practice. It is worth considering that the more a person weighs, the wider the moving belt should be.

    It is also important to look at the availability of additional options in the simulator. For example, the number of built-in programs, changing the angle of the canvas, a built-in player, etc. You should only choose those functions that will really be useful. After all, you will have to pay for extra options.

    Exercise bike

    An exercise bike is perfect for home workouts. It is more compact than a treadmill and does not put as much strain on your joints. In addition, using an exercise bike you can tighten the muscles of your thighs and buttocks.

    There are different types of exercise bikes: vertical, horizontal, hybrid and portable. In a vertical design, the pedals are located under the seat. This allows you to bring the activity closer to natural cycling and gives maximum load.

    Upright exercise bike

    But if you have back problems, it is advisable to purchase a recumbent exercise bike, in which the pedals are located at the same level as the seat. This is a more physiological position that relieves tension from the spine.

    Recumbent exercise bike

    Hybrid trainers allow you to change seating positions. They are usually purchased if family members have different health conditions.

    Moving the seat on a hybrid exercise bike

    Portable exercise bikes are a stand with pedals without a seat. It’s not very convenient to exercise on them, but they take up virtually no space and are inexpensive.

    Portable exercise bike

    According to the principle of operation, exercise bikes are distinguished: belt, shoe, magnetic, electromagnetic and bicycle ergometers. The first three types are mechanical and do not require an electrical connection. They cost less, but their functionality is not so wide.

    Electromagnetic and bicycle ergometers have built-in training programs and provide the smoothest ride. In addition, they are equipped with mini-computers that allow you to monitor your body’s condition throughout the workout. But the price of such exercise bikes is quite high.

    Stepper

    A simpler cardio machine is a stepper. It is great for home workouts, as it is very inexpensive and takes up little space.

    The design of the simulator is a platform with foot pedals. Exercises on a stepper simulate climbing stairs, so they help not only lose weight, but also strengthen the muscles of the legs and buttocks. For this reason, women often give him their preference.

    There are several types of stepper. The simplest exercise machines only have a platform with two pedals. Their price is minimal, but the load is sometimes insufficient. In addition, during classes the upper body is not involved.

    Mini stepper

    Improved steppers have handles that move along with the pedals during the workout. This exercise machine provides stress on the lower and upper parts of the body.

    Stepper with handle

    Instead of handles, the stepper is sometimes equipped with expanders, with which you can perform exercises during class.

    Stepper with expanders

    In addition, steppers are divided into mechanical and electromagnetic. The latter make it possible to change the load level and select the built-in program. In addition, they provide information about speed, number of steps taken, calories burned, etc. But such exercise machines are more expensive.

    Ellipsoid

    The elliptical trainer is considered one of the best for weight loss. It is also called an ellipsoid or orbitec. It is reminiscent of skiing. Essentially, this is the same running, but without the stress on the joints.

    Elliptical trainer

    The design of the simulator includes a flywheel, pedals and moving handles. According to the type of load, they are divided into: belt, magnetic, aeromagnetic and electromagnetic ellipsoids.

    Magnetic exercise machines are well suited for home use. They are quite silent and provide an even, smooth ride.

    Electromagnetic ellipsoids are usually installed in gyms. They are suitable for professional purposes, but are very expensive.

    Rowing machine

    The rowing machine is also very effective for losing weight and improving body quality. The class combines cardio and strength training. After all, many muscle groups are involved in the process: arms, shoulders, back, abs, legs and others.

    The rowing machine consists of a bench, a moving seat and a handle. The legs rest on special stands, the hands hold the handle. As you exhale, a push occurs, the legs straighten, the body leans back. Then you need to return to the starting position.

    There are several types of rowing machines. Air uses air resistance created by built-in fan blades.

    Air rowing machine

    The water trainer uses water resistance. The movements are smooth and natural, just like real rowing on a boat.

    Water rowing machine

    Magnetic and electromagnetic rowing machines provide a smoother motion without jerking. In addition, they operate almost silently. But such devices are much more expensive.

    Electromagnetic rowing machine

    The most reliable manufacturers of cardio equipment are: Kettler, Torneo, HouseFit, Brumer and others.

    Other inventory

    In addition to cardio equipment, you can purchase other equipment for home workouts. These can be dumbbells or expanders for performing strength exercises, which also contribute to weight loss.

    Such devices cost an order of magnitude less than cardio equipment. But with regular exercise they are no less effective.

    Dumbbells and barbells

    It is convenient to buy several small dumbbells of different weights for home. With them you can perform a huge variety of exercises for all muscle groups: legs, buttocks, arms, back, etc.

    Dumbbells of different weights

    During an intense workout with dumbbells, you can burn even more calories than doing cardio. In addition, the fat burning process will continue after the end of the workout. After all, muscles require a lot of energy even at rest.

    You can also purchase collapsible dumbbells, to which you can add new discs over time. Then the load can be gradually increased.

    Collapsible dumbbells

    You can do exercises to lose weight and strengthen muscles at home with a small barbell. It is suitable for performing squats, lunges and other energy-intensive movements. At first, you can train with an empty bar, gradually adding weights.

    If the weight of the barbell seems too heavy, you can use body bars. Their weight varies. But the downside is that you won’t be able to hang disks on them.

    Bodybars

    Rubber bands

    Rubber fitness bands can be an excellent option for home workouts. They target the muscles without loading the joints.

    Rubber bands for training

    It is advisable to purchase a whole set of elastic bands, which will differ from each other in the level of resistance. Usually the manufacturer distinguishes them in different colors.

    Hoop

    The hoop is popular among women. It is believed that with its help you can quickly remove the stomach, sides and reduce the waist.

    But in fact, targeted fat burning is a myth. Fat is lost evenly throughout the body, regardless of the exercise performed. Therefore, hula hooping will not help get rid of belly fat.

    A small effect can be noticed if you train with a hoop for at least 30-40 minutes almost every day. After all, such workouts are low-intensity cardio, and fat will begin to “burn” only after 20 minutes of exercise. The muscles also receive a small load. But still, this time can be spent on more effective exercises.

    Jump rope

    A jump rope is a sports equipment known to everyone since physical education lessons. Jumping is a form of cardio exercise. Therefore, to lose weight, you will have to jump for quite a long time. But the result will not take long to arrive. In addition, during the process of jumping, the muscles of almost the entire body tense and endurance develops.

    Nowadays there are many different types of jump ropes. The first is a regular cord with handles. This is the kind of jump rope everyone remembers from childhood. The simple design is suitable for beginners.

    The speed rope is equipped with bearings. Due to this, it allows you to make up to 5-6 revolutions per second. Jumping with such a rope gives a more serious load and promotes accelerated weight loss.

    Speed jump rope

    Weighted jump ropes weigh more than regular ones. Therefore, exercises with this equipment are effective in developing the muscles of the upper body. Weighting is achieved by increasing the mass of the cord or inserting weights into the handles.

    Weighted jump rope

    The most modern jump ropes have a built-in counter that shows the number of revolutions made and calories burned. They cost much more than regular ones.

    How to make a weight loss exercise machine with your own hands?

    You can make a weight loss exercise machine with your own hands. It was called "Lose Weight". Its design was developed by Nikolai Dolinov.

    A homemade rope trainer, according to the author, can replace many exercises with other equipment. With its help, you can quickly lose weight and strengthen muscles. The developer claims that 15 minutes of training on this machine replaces 120 squats, 1 hour of running and 200 crunches.

    It’s not difficult to make such a simulator yourself. It consists of two ropes with four handles for legs and arms, two roller blocks and a fastening.

    Exercise machine "Lose weight"

    To make the Dolinov simulator, you will need the following materials:

    • strong rope with a diameter of 5-7 mm and a length of approximately 6-7 m;
    • thermal insulation for pipes made of foamed polyethylene;
    • 2 block rollers with a diameter of 30 mm;
    • 60 cm of regular rope;
    • half-ring screw;
    • dowel;
    • drill.

    To turn this into a weight loss simulator, you need to perform a series of sequential steps:

    1. 1. Cut a strong rope with a core in half. Thread each half into its own block. To prevent the cut ends from unraveling over time, you can set them on fire with matches.
    2. 2. As a result, there should be 4 free ends from which you need to make handles. To do this, you can take pieces of thermal insulation for pipes of suitable length and put them on ropes. This is necessary so that the handles are comfortable to hold.
    3. 3. After this, you should fix the ends of the ropes with knots so that you get full-fledged handles. The knots must be strong. After all, they must support the weight of a person during exercise.
    4. 4. A regular rope 60 cm long needs to be cut in half and each half threaded into its own block. The free ends of the rope must be secured with a half-ring screw.
    5. 5. Then you should attach the exercise machine to the wall. To do this, you need to drill a hole approximately at waist level with a drill. A dowel is driven into it and a half-ring screw is screwed in with ropes attached.

    Step-by-step instruction

    If you don't have a drill at home, you can attach the exercise machine to the door handle. But for this it must be reliable.

    You need to conduct classes in sportswear and sneakers, even at home. After all, training in uniform is more convenient physically and psychologically. Sports shoes are a must, as this helps avoid injury and protects joints.

    And a little about secrets...

    The story of one of our readers, Inga Eremina:

    I was especially depressed by my weight; at 41, I weighed as much as 3 sumo wrestlers combined, namely 92 kg. How to completely lose excess weight? How to cope with hormonal changes and obesity? But nothing disfigures or makes a person look younger than his figure.

    But what can you do to lose weight? Laser liposuction surgery? I found out - no less than 5 thousand dollars. Hardware procedures - LPG massage, cavitation, RF lifting, myostimulation? A little more affordable - the course costs from 80 thousand rubles with a nutritionist consultant. You can, of course, try to run on a treadmill until you go crazy.

    And when will you find time for all this? And it's still very expensive. Especially now. That's why I chose a different method for myself...

Sports equipment for home is the optimal solution for people who monitor their physical fitness and are ready to devote about an hour of their time every day for this purpose.

They allow you not to spend hours visiting the gym and exercise at home.

  • They allow you to work on your figure at any time that suits you. It could even be at night.
  • In terms of price, they are more profitable than the annual purchase of a gym membership for everyone in the family.
  • They are more hygienic than their counterparts in fitness centers.

Which exercise machine to choose for home

When buying a trainer, you need to pay attention to the following points:

  • dimensions of the simulator;
  • the ability to transform it;
  • the number of functions performed and the presence of a digital display;
  • sports equipment characteristics suitable for all your home needs;
  • quality of material, reliability of assembly and the simulator as a whole.

Types of simulators depending on the type of load

From the photos of exercise machines for home on the Internet, you can see that all exercise machines are divided into the following types:

  • Exercise machines with a mechanical type of load distribution. They have a simple design and low price. The downside is the noise they create during operation and the inability to install a full-fledged digital display with training programs.
  • Exercise machines with magnetic drive. The advantage is the absence of noise during operation. Disadvantage: higher cost.
  • Exercise machines with electromagnetic load distribution. The advantage is an automatic reduction in loads at the final stage of training.

The main criteria that you need to decide on before purchasing a simulator are the amount of money you are willing to spend on its purchase and the set of functions you need.

Types of home exercise equipment

Treadmill

Ideal to keep your figure in excellent condition. It can be used for both running and walking – that is, to perform natural movements for humans. It allows you to spend quite a lot of energy without a particularly heavy load, strengthens the lungs, heart and blood vessels, and increases muscle tone.

The treadmill does not require any preliminary preparation.

  • Expensive.
  • High noise level during operation.
  • Quite large in size and weight.
  • Not recommended for people with problem joints and spine.

Elliptical trainer for home

The ellipsoid imitates the movements of a person on skis.

It refers to home exercise equipment for all muscle groups. In this case, the joints and spine experience minimal stress.

Exercises allow you to keep fit perfectly.

  • The dimensions of the ellipsoid are smaller than those of a treadmill, but still quite large.
  • The price of the folding version is significantly higher.
  • The elliptical trainer is also not a silent exercise machine. The exception is magnetic models.

Exercise bike

It occupies a leading position among home exercise equipment. Its advantages:

  • Low price.
  • An effective training program that burns fat deposits and strengthens the heart and blood vessels.
  • Small dimensions.

Minus - the load goes mainly to the lower part of the body - thighs, buttocks, calves.

Rowing machine for home

Involves the muscles of the arms and abs. It has a fairly low cost and is compact.

The load is distributed evenly. Despite all of the above, they are not so popular. This is probably because they take time to master.

It is not advisable to use a rowing machine for those who have problems with the spine.

Stepper

This is the best exercise machine for home. Its advantage is its compact size and low price. It perfectly allows you to get rid of excess weight and pump up your leg muscles.

The downside is that there is a large load on the knee joints, which makes their use undesirable for older people.

Remember that no matter what home exercise machine you choose, the training program must be appropriate to your level of health and meet the recommendations of your doctor or trainer.

If you have made the decision to lose weight and are not going to back down, then it is time to act. It doesn’t matter what choice you make – the gym or home exercises, it is important to determine which exercise machines are the most effective for losing weight and how they pump different muscle groups. To achieve the desired goal you need a set of exercises, proper nutrition, and an active lifestyle. The gym has a lot of auxiliary equipment, but if your desire is to practice at home, you will have to purchase equipment.

Exercise equipment for weight loss

The choice of equipment is large and it is difficult to decide which exercise machine is best for losing weight. In each individual case it will be a different projectile. To get maximum results in your apartment, you need to choose the most effective one. The main purpose of sports equipment is to replace active exercises such as running and walking at home. The best exercise machines will help you forget about excess weight forever, strengthen your muscles, improve your well-being, and correct your body proportions. These include:

  • "rowing";
  • exercise bike;
  • stepper;
  • orbitrek;
  • treadmill.

Exercise bike for weight loss

The cardio machine resembles a regular bicycle that has had its wheels removed and secured in place. By exercising on a machine, you can not only get a thin waist, lose weight, pump up your buttocks, make your legs slender, but also strengthen your heart. Cycling helps prevent hypertension and improves performance. If a person has problems with joints, there is a model with a horizontal body position.

New models have built-in automatic resistance adjustment; you adjust the level of speed and load to suit yourself. The screen will display the time spent on training, the distance you have covered, your heart rate, and the number of calories burned. Each model has its own characteristics, so buy the one that is convenient to work with. Regular exercise on an exercise bike for weight loss will help you achieve your goal. But do not forget that this equipment is intended more for the leg muscles.

Stepper for weight loss

The stepper is a practical exercise machine, does not take up space in the apartment, is compact, and easy to use. Its effectiveness has been proven by many. The stepper has a strong effect on the muscles of the lower body. By improving blood circulation, you will forget about cellulite and get rid of the hated centimeters in problem areas. One of the disadvantages is that the stepper increases pressure on the knee joints, so it is not suitable for those who want to lose weight with such problems.

Please note that a weight loss stepper will only help you reduce certain areas of your body. This happens because the speed and amplitude of movements are not large; only a small group of muscles works. Many people buy mini-steppers. To protect yourself from injury, choose a model with a stable, heavy base.

Treadmill for weight loss

The treadmill is the most effective aerobic exercise machine in any gym. The degree of load depends on the height of the inclination of the canvas and the speed of movement along it. A positive feature is that you adjust the intensity of the workout yourself during the exercise (fast running, moving along a straight road or up). Exercises on this equipment should begin and end with walking. A treadmill for weight loss is a good choice.

In a gym, a treadmill is usually a bulky piece of equipment. For a home with limited space, you can choose a compact model that can fold well. Those who suffer from joint pain or have back problems (spine, lower back, tailbone) should avoid running. Constant morning jogging will get rid of excess subcutaneous deposits, add vigor and give you strength for the whole day.

Elliptical

The best exercise machine for weight loss is the elliptical. This equipment is a must buy for the gym. The training begins with him. It warms up the body, preparing it for power loads. Orbitrek affects all muscles, you will strengthen your abs, lateral abdominal muscles, arms and buttocks. The elliptical trainer for weight loss can be folded. The compact orbitrek will not take up a large area in the apartment and will help you achieve a beautiful waist and slender legs.

Rowing

This sports equipment is considered one of the most difficult to practice independently. Not everyone will like this device; you need to get used to it. If all movements on it are synchronous and harmonious, you will get a good fat-burning effect. “Rowing” can load muscle groups in the thighs, abdomen, entire back, and arms. Exercising consumes a large number of calories. The rowing machine for weight loss is effective and widely used to combat visceral fat.

Exercise machine for weight loss at home

If you can’t waste your precious time visiting the gym, you should try doing physical exercises at home, in a comfortable environment. To achieve results, you need to know how to choose a weight loss exercise machine for your home. The trainer will be able to tell you which exercise machines are the most effective for losing weight. Pay attention to which muscle groups are involved in exercise. After all, which exercise machine is better to buy for home depends on what problematic parts of your body you want to work on.

The following equipment will help those who want to acquire a beautiful silhouette and lose extra pounds:

  • hoop;
  • fitness ball;
  • disk for rotation “Grace”;
  • jump rope;
  • expander;
  • dumbbells.

For the belly

When you have figured out how to choose a weight loss machine at home, you can safely go shopping. Always warm up your entire body muscles before using home appliances. There is also a more accessible type of equipment. These are indoor exercise machines for losing belly fat:

  1. A hula hoop will allow you to narrow your waist by a few centimeters and make your stomach flat. To avoid soreness and bruises, it is necessary to gradually increase the time of exercise.
  2. The fitball will make your waist thin and your stomach invisible. During exercise on the ball, all the muscles of the abdominal area are tensed. There are many exercise options, most of which also create a massage effect on problem areas.
  3. The “Grace” disc creates a slim waist, strengthens the abdominal muscles (rectus and oblique), and has a positive effect on internal organs.
  4. Butterfly massager. The device is attached specifically to the stomach and contracts the muscles. The load can be compared to strength exercises.

For slimming arms

Choosing exercise equipment for losing weight in your arms is easy. In addition to rowing, an orbit track, a mini-stepper, the simplest hand tools will also help - an expander, dumbbells. The main function is to provide simultaneous load on both hands. The apparatus can burn subcutaneous deposits from the armpits to the elbow. Cleverly selected exercises not only pump up muscles, but also tighten the skin. Representatives of the fair sex can rest assured that with such loads it will not be possible to pump up large biceps like men’s.

For hips

Each trainer can tell you which exercise machine is best for losing weight in the thigh area. It’s very easy to get slender legs in the gym. If it is not possible to purchase equipment for home or pay for a gym membership, you can use a cheaper exercise machine for the hips and buttocks. It's called a band massager. During use, muscles are warmed up and worked out, and subcutaneous fat is removed. The tape massager removes cellulite very well, even very outdated ones. Squats on a fitball will also bring good results.

For slimming legs

You can put stress on your legs using a treadmill or exercise bike. In this sports equipment you can increase the load. The best home exercise machines for losing weight on your legs are a jump rope and an expander. They are convenient to take on the go. A good effect can be achieved by simply running on the spot or at the stadium. There are various sets of exercises for the muscle groups of the thighs and buttocks with a fitball.

Universal trainer

If you have a question: “Which exercise machine will you use to lose weight faster?” - then the next option will suit you. The best in the ranking is the universal home exercise machine Orbitrek. It is safe, helps to correctly distribute the load, tighten the muscles of the whole body, and achieve ideal body proportions. Orbitrek combines a bicycle, a treadmill, and simulates rowing. It is better to buy a non-bulky folding design for home. The highest quality orbit track with blood pressure monitoring and many additional functions is an elliptical ergometer.

Weight loss machines in the gym

A trainer can best tell you which exercise machines are effective for losing weight and are suitable for you. It is worth remembering that not all sports equipment is aimed at weight loss. Most simply properly develop and strengthen the muscles of the body. Some people benefit more from cardio exercises, while others benefit from strength training. Remember that the most effective exercises in the gym are those that are done regularly.

Many people do not want to spend money and time on going to the gym. Classes in sports clubs take up time that can be spent at home with your family. Modern people are immersed in work matters and cannot pay attention to their loved ones. For this purpose, they purchase a home exercise machine, which is aimed at developing various muscle groups.

Which trainer to choose

First you need to figure out your goals. It’s one thing to come to a gym that is fully equipped with equipment for all muscle groups, and another thing is to want to buy a home exercise machine for all muscle groups. Of course, no one will cover absolutely all groups, but there are those that are capable of using a large number of muscles.

People usually buy exercise equipment for two purposes..

  1. Losing weight. To get rid of excess fat, you need to purchase cardio equipment. They are also useful in that they can improve heart function and increase muscle tone. Regular exercise on the exercise machine will help you lose weight.
  1. Building muscle mass. Cardio equipment is not suitable in this situation - you need to purchase power versions of the devices. Exercise machines will improve muscle tone and body weight.

Home exercise machine for weight loss

To lose weight, you need to choose a cardio machine. There are budget options that are suitable for home use. These include a jump rope, fitball, rotation disc, hula hoop, and ab roller. These are simple remedies that will help you lose weight. It is better to exercise regularly, and rest between workouts is not enough to load the muscles. This is how the fat burning process will occur.

Daily exercise will have a positive effect on the tone of the body:

  • extra calories will be burned;
  • body weight will be regulated;
  • weight gain will stop.

Modern cardio equipment is equipped with more functionality. It is better to familiarize yourself with the nuances of each simulator before purchasing.

Cardio equipment

If the above options do not work, you need to buy a device that will burn subcutaneous fat more thoroughly. These cardio equipment include:

  • exercise bike;

First you need to familiarize yourself with each of them.

Treadmill

This is an excellent simulator that creates a simulation of walking or running. When a person runs, almost all muscles are used, and a large amount of fat is effectively burned. Calories go away quickly. This type of exercise machine should be used by those who want to tighten their muscles and improve their health.

Pros:

  1. The cardiovascular and respiratory systems, metabolism and muscle tone improve.
  2. Workouts can be changed daily, adding variety using settings (movement speed and incline angle).

You need to focus on your well-being. You should calculate the required heart rate for running. Exercise affects a person’s figure and health. And all this not in an expensive gym, but at home. It is not necessary to run right away: if you are overweight, it is difficult to start running exercises at high speeds, so you can first use normal walking.

As you master the technique, you should increase the pace and start running. This will cause excess fat to disappear.

Minuses:

  1. The simulator is expensive.
  2. There will be noise in the house during exercise.
  3. When using the simulator, the joints of the body will experience greater stress.
  4. Mechanical treadmills are inconvenient for training, but electronic treadmills will take up too much space.
  5. You cannot use the exercise machine if you have problems with your spine.

When buying a treadmill, you need to pay attention to some features.

Prices from the online store:

Mechanical treadmills start at $150, while electronic treadmills start at $300.

Exercise bike

The exercise bike simulates cycling, which is good for your health and figure. But it is more aimed at the lower body. Mainly the legs and buttocks are involved. There are several types of exercise bikes.

Pros:

  • systematic exercise will get rid of excess fat;
  • endurance will increase;
  • metabolism will improve;
  • exercise will have a positive effect on the heart muscle.

To get in good physical shape, you will have to train for a long time. An exercise bike takes up little space in the house, and its price is not too high.

Minuses:

  • cannot be folded and hidden under the bed or in the closet;
  • only certain muscle groups are involved;
  • Mechanical parts often wear out.

When buying an exercise bike, you need to look at its functionality. There should be clutch adjustment and load changes, a heart rate monitor, and calorie measurement. Such functions make the simulator more expensive, but the training will be more comfortable and effective.

New models include pre-set training programs, can calculate time, heart rate, speed and show how to work. A person can indicate the purpose of the workout - warm-up, weight loss, endurance.

Prices for exercise equipment from the online store:

  • belt - $70;
  • magnetic – 200;
  • electromagnetic – 300;
  • horizontal – 250;
  • spin bikes – $300.

You can also choose more expensive types of devices.

Stepper

Stepper - mini exercise machine, which can work your legs and muscle tone. It is not the most popular, but it has an undeniable advantage - its dimensions. The compact exercise machine consists of two pedals that allow you to simulate walking up stairs. In order to take a step, you need to put the front “step” down.

There are ministeppers that include a timer and mileage. They also produce larger models equipped with a pulse-reading computer. In such models, handrails are installed.

Pros:

  1. Dimensions. Even the most advanced models are small compared to other cardio equipment.
  2. Ease of use.

Minuses:

  • The workouts are boring.

The price is inexpensive and is $50 for a regular stapler, a more advanced one is $100.

Elliptical trainers

This equipment uses all muscle groups. The simulator puts minimal stress on a person’s joints, spine and ligaments. It is a skiing simulator that uses many muscle groups. The device looks like two pedals with handles connected to each other, but there are also options where they move independently of each other. This is necessary if you want to use only the upper or lower body.

In those models where everything moves at the same time, not only movable handles are installed, but also fixed ones. In this case, you can only train the lower body. This type of exercise machine is an average between a treadmill and an exercise bike, as it puts a moderate load on the body.

The movement of the legs is carried out in a circular path, the load on the knees is minimized.

Pros:

  1. During training, many muscles of the body are used, which leads to rapid weight loss.
  2. The muscles receive the load, but not the joints.
  3. The cardiovascular and respiratory systems develop.

Minuses:

  1. The trainers are big.
  2. Cheap models make a lot of noise.

The elliptical trainer is suitable for home workouts. Modern models provide comfort with the help of devices such as heart rate monitors, speedometers, and timers. Models have different programs. You can enter the necessary data, after which the simulator itself will calculate the load.

This is one of the best trainers, which is suitable for losing weight and getting rid of excess subcutaneous fat. But users complain about cheap types of exercise equipment: they are difficult to assemble and disassemble, and the transport wheels interfere with training. You can often read that exercise machines roll on the floor during training because of the wheels, so you need to purchase a more expensive model.

Prices:

  • mechanical - from $100;
  • magnetic – 200;
  • electromagnetic – 400;
  • generators - 6 thousand dollars.

Rowing machine

Rowing sport simulator. The oars are taken into your hands and attached to the seat. The seat is movable and moves along the monorail. A rowing-like movement is achieved due to the fact that a large number of muscles are involved. The result is synchronized rowing.

While working on the simulator, many muscles are involved.

Pros:

  • during classes a person will not get bored;
  • training is effective;
  • mini-dimensions of the simulator.

Minuses:

  • the spine bears a large load;
  • It is necessary to follow the correct technique, because otherwise you can only hurt yourself.

The price for a mechanical device is $100 and above, and for electric ones – from $200.

Strength training equipment

This multifunctional type of equipment is usually purchased by men, since the simulator is aimed at strengthening muscle mass and increasing body volume. But you should not confuse muscle mass and fat mass, because if done incorrectly, not a single exercise machine will cure obesity - you must also follow a diet. An integrated approach will allow you to achieve your goal.

Strength training machines are not just for men; women can use them too. But usually it is men who purchase such multifunctional power units, and girls who buy cardio equipment.

Equipment you should use with your own weight

We are talking about uneven bars or a Swedish wall. Such training is effective. The class is carried out with your own weight, but you can buy a belt to add load. Exercise machines will not build muscle mass much, but they are suitable for becoming the owner of a strong, lean and muscular body.

Before use, you should consult a specialist, as there may be contraindications for training. For example, pull-ups cannot be performed on people who have scoliosis, vertebral hernias, radiculitis, or osteochondrosis.

Bodyweight exercises are not easy. If weight training starts with light weights, then lifting your own weight is difficult.

Disadvantages of exercises: it is difficult to do without preparation; calluses will often appear on your hands.

Kettlebells, benches

This is a universal training option. Using free weights you can train your body. Free weights help build muscle because each workout requires you to weigh down the equipment. But you need to follow the correct technique. If you decide to purchase a machine with free weights, pay attention to the bench press.

Shop

Let's look at the features you need to consider when purchasing. The angle of inclination must change. You need to look at those benches that can take different positions. The height of the barbell racks should vary depending on the angle of the bench. The top position of the racks should be high so that you can use the barbell for squats. A bench is required approximately 25 cm wide. If you use smaller sizes, the shoulder blades will always be free.

A wide bench will block their breeding, which will negatively affect training. It is better to choose a bench that is equipped with a stand for training biceps - a Smith bench.

Barbell and dumbbells

When purchasing a barbell, you must familiarize yourself with the requirements and comply with them. You cannot buy a barbell without locks that secure the plates. The diameter of the bar must be standard so that all pancakes fit on it. The bar should not have a smooth surface, as it will slip in your hands. The seats for the pancakes need to be long enough to hang several.

The same parameters can be attributed to dumbbells.

Pros:

  • versatility;
  • involvement of many muscles;
  • good value for money.

Minuses:

  • the training room needs to be equipped;
  • need to worry about gender;
  • equipment takes up a lot of space;
  • You should study the technique of performing the exercises, it is advisable to have experience in such training.

Prices

  • dumbbells – $30;
  • parallel bars or horizontal bar – 20;
  • wall bars – 80;
  • universal bench press – 100 and above;
  • assembled rod up to 130 kg – 80 dollars.

Bottom line

In order to lose weight, it is better to buy a treadmill and rowing machines. If you need to strengthen your legs, it is better to choose an exercise bike or stepper. Those people who want to achieve beautiful abs should buy a horizontal bar on which they can perform leg raises. If you need to tighten your muscles, it is useful to purchase a multifunctional power unit. And to gain muscle mass, you need to purchase machines with free weights.

Exercise equipment for home

Hello dear and at the same time esteemed readers and guests of the FitKis Club blog! From this side of the monitor, your venerable servant for education in the direction of a healthy lifestyle, Vitaly Okhrimenko, is broadcasting.

I remember quite recently on this blog, in the section about the question was discussed. There we examined in general terms the theoretical side of the issue, found out what you absolutely need to pay attention to when planning to buy a trainer for use at home. I definitely recommend everyone who hasn’t read it to check it out.

Today we’ll dig deeper and try to understand which exercise machine is better for home use based on the input we received in the last publication.

Now I classify exercise machines according to goals and needs, and as a result of these data you will understand for yourself which home exercise machine you need. If at the end of the publication you still have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them in the comments.

Which exercise machine is better to choose for home?

You still need to refresh your memory a little (in case you are too lazy to go to the previous article). Before choosing a home exercise machine, you need to understand the purposes for which you need it at home.

Basic goals:

  1. Weight loss
    Cardio equipment is much better suited for this purpose. Accompanied by improved heart function and increased muscle tone.
  2. Muscle building
    For this purpose, strength options for home exercise equipment are needed. Accompanied by good muscle tone, an increase in muscle mass (unfortunately, during the masonry cycle, partly fat mass), and improved metabolism.

Which exercise machine to choose for home for weight loss

As I mentioned just above, to lose weight, it would be nice for us to buy some kind of cardio equipment for our home.

Budget options for home exercise equipment for weight loss (list)

  • Jump rope;
  • Hula Hup;
  • Rotation disk.

Cardio equipment for home

Systematic exercise has a very healthy effect on the tone of the body, and also burns extra calories, helping to regulate body weight and not gain excess weight. Modern cardio equipment is equipped with fairly high functionality (you can read about whether we need it or not here*).

Types of cardio equipment:

  1. Treadmill;
  2. Exercise bike;
  3. Stepper;
  4. Rowing machine;
  5. Elliptical (aka ellipsoid, aka orbitrek).

Treadmill for home use

Treadmill - a wonderful exercise machine, walking and running simulator. While running, almost all the muscles of the human body are used and a fairly high amount of energy (and, as a result, calories) is burned. This exercise machine is perfect for those who want to have toned muscles, a low percentage of body fat and good health.

Advantages of treadmills for home:

  • Improves the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, metabolism, muscle tone.
  • You can diversify your workouts while increasing progress using settings: changing the speed of movement and the angle of inclination.
  • Focusing on your own well-being and additionally calculating the heart rate required for running, you can very well influence both your figure and your health at home with the help of a treadmill.
  • Overweight people can start exercising on a treadmill by walking, gradually increasing the pace and, as a result, achieving results as painlessly as possible for the body.

Disadvantages of a Home Treadmill:

  • High price.
  • Noise produced.
  • Mechanical treadmills are inconvenient for training, and electronic treadmills take up too much space.
  • Running is contraindicated for people with serious spinal problems.

What to look for when choosing a track:

  1. Computer functionality - a good treadmill should have different modes, a heartbeat counter, programs for regulating the load depending on the heartbeat and other specified parameters.
  2. The quality of the running belt - it is better to choose a wide and long belt (0.5 m by 1.5 m) with good shock absorption.
  3. Constant power - if the weight of the trainee (or trainees) does not exceed 80 kg, then an engine with a constant power of 1.5 liters will suffice. With. (we are interested in “constant power” and not “peak”, which is often indicated on labels and advertising posters.
  4. Maximum speed – if you are going to walk (if there are medical contraindications to running), then a treadmill with a maximum speed of 10 km/h is sufficient, and if you are going to run – then 13–16 km/h.

Treadmill prices:

  • Mechanical from $150.
  • Electronic from $300.

Exercise bike for home

Second place in the classics of the genre. The exercise bike simulates cycling, and who among us doesn’t know how good cycling is for health and figure?? Although again: this cardio machine is more aimed at the lower part of the body: the muscles of the legs and buttocks, and for the internal organs it does not have the same effect that can be obtained using a treadmill.

There are 6 main types of exercise bikes:

  1. Shoe exercise bikes - resistance when riding is created by brake shoes pressed against the flywheel. The disadvantage is that the pads are a mechanical part and tend to wear out. So from time to time, whether you like it or not, you will have to change them.
  2. Belt exercise bikes - resistance when riding is created by tensioned belts that rotate the flywheel wheel. The tighter the tension, the harder it is to twist. The main disadvantage is that belts wear out quite quickly, and a worn belt can unexpectedly burst.
  3. Magnetic exercise bikes are a good option for a mechanical exercise bike. Convenient, silent, durable. It is inferior to the electromagnetic one, but among its mechanical counterparts it can be called the best.
  4. Electromagnetic exercise bikes - powered by electricity, the load is created using a simple circuit that is controlled using a sensor. Certainly more expensive than mechanical exercise bikes, but at the same time a much more preferable type of exercise bike. The disadvantage is that this simulator requires electricity, and, of course, the price.
  5. Recumbent exercise bike - this type of exercise bike is aimed at people with ailments such as varicose veins or serious problems with the spine. The pedals are located at the level of the abdomen, rotation occurs from a lying position and practically does not load the spine.
  6. A spinbike is an exercise bike that is a simulator of a road bike. The handlebars are at the level of the saddle, the back takes a position closer to horizontal.

Advantages of an exercise bike for home:

  • Regular exercise on an exercise bike will help you get rid of excess fat, increase endurance, improve metabolism and have a positive effect on your heart muscle. But for a visible effect you will have to train long and hard.
  • The good thing about an exercise bike is that it is inexpensive and takes up relatively little space. The bad thing is that you can’t fold it and hide it under the bed.

Disadvantages of an exercise bike for home:

  • A limited number of muscles are involved.
  • Wear of mechanical parts (belts and pads).

What to look for when choosing an exercise bike:

When choosing an exercise bike, you need to pay attention first of all to its functionality: resistance adjustment, load monitoring, heart rate monitor, counting calories burned - all these things will make the exercise machine more expensive, but will make training on it much more convenient and effective.

The most “advanced” models of exercise bikes have ready-made training programs in their functionality; they count time, speed, heart rate, and can calculate how to train for different purposes: warming up, losing weight or endurance. It’s clear that all this functionality will make the training more interesting, and the simulator more expensive.

Exercise bike prices:

  • Shoes from $100;
  • Belt ones from $70;
  • Magnetic from $200;
  • Electromagnetic from $300;
  • Horizontal from $250;
  • Spin bikes from $300;

Exercise machine for home Stepper

The stepper is a good exercise machine for working your legs and toning your muscles. The stepper is not the most popular exercise machine, but its main advantage is its size.

In fact a stepper is two pedals that simulate walking on steps. To take the next step, you need to “push” the step down with your foot in front.

There are mini steppers, which are two steps under your feet with a timer and mileage (not in all models). And there are more voluminous and expensive steppers, which include a computer, a pulse counter and handrails attached to the pedals.

Advantages of a stepper for home:

  • Dimensions. Even an advanced model takes up space an order of magnitude smaller than the cardio equipment described above.
  • Simplicity.

Disadvantages of a stepper for home:

  • Boring workout.

Prices for stepper simulators:

  • Mini Stepper from $50.
  • Regular Stepper from $100.

Elliptical trainers for home

An elliptical trainer (aka an orbitrek, aka an ellipsoid, aka a cross-trainer) is a really good exercise machine that uses all muscle groups + minimal load on the joints, ligaments and spine. The elliptical trainer is a skiing simulator, where almost all the muscles of our body are effectively used.

In fact, the orbitrack is two pedals and two handles. In most models they are connected to each other, although there are also those in which the handles and pedals move independently of each other. This is in case you need to train the upper part separately from the lower part and vice versa. In models where the movements are simultaneous, as a rule, in addition to movable handles, there are also fixed ones. This allows you to train your lower body separately from your upper body if desired.

In terms of load direction, it is something between a treadmill, an exercise bike and a stepper. Due to the fact that the movement of the legs is carried out along an elliptical (circular) trajectory, the load on the muscles occurs with minimal load on the knee joints.

Advantages of an ellipsoid for the home:

  • During training on an elliptical, almost all the muscles of the human body are used, which contributes to effective weight loss.
  • The muscles get a load, but the joints do not.
  • Perfectly develops the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Disadvantages of an ellipsoid for home:

  • A good, durable elliptical trainer is bulky and requires quite a lot of space.
  • Cheap models are quite noisy, so a good orbiter for home is expensive.

In principle, the elliptical trainer is great for home cardio training. Modern models have all the bells and whistles necessary for a comfortable workout: heart rate monitor, speedometer, timer and God knows how many other useful tools in their functionality. Advanced models have an entertaining program on their computer: you enter your data: (weight, height, age), and based on this data it calculates with what load and for how long to exercise. I hope it is clear that such a model will cost above average.

If I were asked which home exercise machine is best for losing weight, belly and buttocks, without thinking twice I would answer that it is an elliptical trainer.

There are also mobile (folding) ellipsoids. They are equipped with wheels for transportation and, judging by advertising slogans and videos from manufacturers, they can even be stored under the sofa.

However, judging by the reviews of users who fell for such advertising, they were not satisfied with the choice. Firstly, it is a tedious task to assemble and disassemble, and secondly, these transport wheels attached to the bottom of the exercise machine are a big nuisance during training. They say that the machine literally starts rolling on the floor when you exercise.

In general, if space and money allow (mobile ellipsoids cost almost half as much), then it would be better to buy a stationary orbiter for home.

Ellipsoid prices:

  • Mechanical from $100;
  • Magnetic from $200;
  • Electromagnetic from $400;
  • Generators from $6,000.

Home rowing machine

Another great exercise machine for home use. I think it's clear from the title this simulator is a rowing simulator.

You take the “oars” in your hands, which are attached to the saddle with the help of a cable thrown over a block. The seat is mobile, moving back and forth on the monorail.

The movement, like rowing, is carried out by a large number of muscles. This results in synchronized rowing with the arms (muscles above the waist) with simultaneous pushing with the legs (muscles below the waist). It is clear that this is great for the uniform development of the figure and for losing weight.

Advantages of a rowing machine for home:

  • The training is not boring.
  • High training efficiency.
  • Load distribution throughout the body.
  • Small dimensions.

Disadvantages of a rowing machine for home:

  • Increased load on the lumbar spine.
  • You need to pay a lot of attention to technique because if you use the wrong technique you can damage your health.

As elsewhere, there are cheaper and more expensive models of the simulator. “Advanced” models are equipped with various useful things, such as:

  1. heart rate monitor,
  2. timer,
  3. speedometer,
  4. distance counter,
  5. computer with training programs,
  6. ventilation system.

Prices for rowing machines:

  • Mechanical from $100,
  • Electronic from $200.

What you should pay attention to when choosing a cardio machine for your home

The most expensive treadmills and exercise bikes also come with a home trainer. You connect the processor that comes with the simulator to the TV and it shows (in the form of a young athletic guy or athletic girl) how to train, and even encourages you along the way. Such a partner for money.

Strength training equipment for home

This type of home exercise equipment is, of course, better suited for men because it is aimed more at strengthening muscle groups and building muscle mass as a result of training. I just ask: do not confuse muscle mass and fat mass; with the right approach, not a single exercise machine should cause obesity.

And don’t misunderstand me: I’m not saying that weight training is only for men. It would not be detrimental for any woman to exercise on a strength training machine; I wrote about this in detail in the article. But still (as a classic of the genre): men prefer strength training equipment, and girls prefer cardio training equipment.

Although, again, those girls who have already tried all the miracles on their figure are unlikely to choose only a cardio machine for home. After all, if used correctly, weight training will help any girl hone her figure to her own idea of the ideal (you can even enlarge your breasts a little). And the ratio of time costs to effectiveness when training with weights will be less. True, to improve the respiratory system and the strength of the heart muscle, cardio equipment is still better suited.

Exercise equipment for home for all muscle groups

Exercise machines with your own weight

We are talking about exercise machines, uneven bars, or the entire wall bars. Needless to say how effective training with your own weights is. Such a workout will hardly help you build muscle mass, but you can do a lot to have a strong, lean and muscular body.

Don't believe me? The guy in the video is a living example of this:

True, training with your own weight also has its contraindications. For example, the following ailments are contraindicated for pull-ups:

  • scoliosis,
  • osteochondrosis,
  • hernia,
  • radiculitis.

Yes, and working out with your own weight is not as easy as it seems. If we start weight training with feasible weights and gradually increase the load, then it will be quite difficult for unprepared people to lift their own weight.

Advantages of a weight-bearing exercise machine for home:

Disadvantages of weight training machines for home use:

  • Difficult to perform unprepared;
  • Calluses and other unpleasant moments;

Kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells and bench presses.

As for me, this option is really universal. Although you can ignore my opinion, it cannot be objective. The fact is that I spent the first, in fact the most effective, year of my training with a horizontal bar, parallel bars, a dial bar and two dial dumbbells. Over that year, I managed to gain 10 (!) kg of muscle mass and reach the following strength indicators:

  1. In the bench press I went from 50 to 10 in a year to 90 to 8,
  2. in squats from 50 to 10 in a year I reached 100 to 10,
  3. in the deadlift I went from 40 to 8 in a year to 100 to 10.

In fact, with the help of free weights, I turned from a skinny little guy (68 kg with a height of 1.76 m) into a self-confident muscleman (75 kg of almost pure muscle mass at that time).

Working with free weights in any direction of muscle building when working with weights is a really powerful and most effective tool. True, there is one important thing in this: in order to swing with free weights you need to know.

But it’s doubtful that it would be possible to fit all this knowledge into one link; at the very least, you need to write a book. After all, you need to study all the popular and effective ones with free weights. Incorrect technique will lead to injury and disfigurement much faster than to larger muscles and enviable results.

It is worth saying that all experienced bodybuilders and fitness specialists choose machines with free weights.

So, if you have decided for yourself that a machine with free weights is exactly what you need for your home, then the first thing you should pay attention to when buying a bench press is:

  1. The angle of the bench press should vary. It is desirable to have several possible positions, both with a decrease in angle (tilt the bench up) and with an increase (tilt the bench down.
  2. The height of the barbell racks should also vary depending on the angle of the bench.
  3. The top position of the barbell racks should be high enough to allow the barbell to be lifted from for squats. Although, if you have a wall bars, it is much more convenient to lift the barbell from the uneven bars.
  4. The bench itself should be approximately 23–25 cm wide; a narrow bench digs between the shoulder blades and interferes with maintaining balance, and a wide bench blocks the movement of the shoulder blades.
  5. For the bench, attachments for biceps (Smith bench) and an attachment for leg flexion/extension are very desirable.

What are the requirements for a barbell for home use??

  1. It is necessary to have locks to secure the pancakes.
  2. The diameter of the place on the bar where the pancakes cling should be standard so that, if necessary, you can buy additional pancakes.
  3. The bar should not have a flat surface (it slips in your hands), but it should not be too ribbed (it digs into your hands). You need to look for something in between.
  4. The presence of plates on the bar should allow the use of weights with a difference of 5 kg. It is desirable that the mark from and to be as large a difference as possible (from 15 kg with an empty bar to 150 kg with all the weights). Different exercises are performed with different weights.

The requirements for a dumbbell for home use are the same as the requirements for a barbell, only the weight should allow you to adjust the weight of the dumbbell at intervals of 2 kg. It’s very cool when the weights on the barbell and the dumbbells fit together, this allows you to very well separate the working weights.

Before you buy this universal exercise machine for home, which will allow you to work out absolutely all muscle groups, you need to understand that its installation requires a lot of space, and there should be no neighbors underneath. And the floor must have sufficiently high strength and shock absorption.

Advantages of free weights for home:

  • Versatility;
  • working out all muscle groups;
  • excellent price-quality ratio.

Disadvantages of Free Weights for Home:

  • You need to equip the room, worry about the floor;
  • takes up a lot of space;
  • requires information preparation;
  • It is advisable to have experience training with weights.

Prices for free weights:

  • Dumbbells from $30,
  • parallel bars, horizontal bar from $20,
  • wall bars from $80,
  • universal bench press with attachments for arms and legs from $100,
  • prefabricated rod up to 130 kg from $80.

Universal power station

Of course, this is the elite among exercise machines for home use. This simulator allows you to work out almost all muscle groups with maximum safety.

The power station combines most of the equipment from the gym. It is intended specifically for use at home and is hardly suitable for the gym. After all, a lot of people train in the gym, and it’s much more convenient for the exercise equipment to be separated. At home, on the contrary, it is more convenient when they are combined and as compact as possible.

At first glance, the power station looks intimidating: a bunch of different handles, cables and rollers that lead to one block of weights (in more advanced models, all these cables are hidden under a beautiful shield).

But there is no need to be afraid. Having delved a little deeper, it becomes clear what’s what and where, and a short educational program will save you from the slightest possibility of injury. Although it's difficult to do in a strength station, most exercises simply don't have any wrong variations. Excellent for maintaining all muscles in tone, but for building mass it is inferior to training with free weights.

Requires quite a lot of space. Before purchasing, be sure to check the recommendations for the active operating zone. Due to the great versatility of exercise variations, the complex cable system can sometimes get mixed up.

Advantages of a power station for the home:

  • All muscles work;
  • comparative safety;
  • versatility.

Disadvantages of a power station for the home:

  • Expensive;
  • takes up a lot of space.

Prices for power stations:

  • Simpler options from $200.
  • Advanced models from $800.

Which exercise machine is best for home use?

Well, this informative and quite voluminous review is coming to an end. I will not persuade or agitate anyone to choose this or that home exercise machine. I have described in sufficient detail the pros and cons of each option, and then the choice is yours. First of all, the choice depends on the goals.

If I wanted to lose weight, I would choose a treadmill or orbitrack. If you wanted to strengthen your legs, you would definitely opt for an exercise bike or a stepper. If you wanted abs with prominent cubes, you would buy yourself a horizontal bar to do it on and at the same time get an Ab Roller exercise machine, an ab wheel and a fitball. If my goal was to have strong, toned muscles, then I would definitely choose a power station. Well, if you dreamed of muscle mass, then only exercise machines using free weights.

Before you get ready, here’s some great advice for you: after taking into account all the points, such as goals, dimensions and price, and at the same time deciding on what kind of exercise machine you want for your home, be sure to test it before purchasing.

If something is pressing somewhere, is wobbly in the design of the exercise machine, and while performing some exercise correctly (assuming that you know exactly how to do it correctly), pain occurs... think about it, maybe this particular exercise machine is not worth buying.

Tell the seller your dissatisfaction and see how clear an answer you get from him. Well, or if you have any doubts, you can express them in the comments. Let's try to find the answer together.

Have fun with your home workouts.

Best regards, Vitaly Okhrimenko!

5 comments on “Which exercise machine is best for home use? Advantages and disadvantages of home exercise equipment""

    Sports equipment is designed to train specific muscle groups. There are no completely universal ones that can give a load to absolutely the entire body. This is what gyms are designed for. For people who care about their health, but do not set a goal to “pump up”, and want to exercise at home, the most suitable equipment, in my opinion, would be an exercise bike. It has a stable design and provides intense stress on major muscle groups. helps to diversify training and, importantly, displays the state of the trainee’s pulse.

    Good evening, Vitaly. If you don’t mind, please advise which company and where to buy a power station, rowing machine and exercise bike, not budget options, but without unnecessary overpayment. Thanks for the interesting article. Best regards, Andrey.

    Good afternoon If you don't mind, can you tell me what bearing is on the Stepper? On my simulator, the numbers have fallen apart and the brand is not visible. Maybe you know where exercise equipment is repaired in Vladimir?

    Good afternoon I currently have a Nautilus R626 recumbent exercise bike. A very convenient model for home training. I and everyone at home quite like it.

    I’m choosing a home exercise machine for the spine, all the advantages in the direction of Gravitrin, I will take it, it’s an effective exercise machine.
