The calculation of load-bearing reinforced concrete structures was carried out using the SCAD 21.1 program. Pile foundations were calculated in the program. As a result of the calculation, linear forces in walls and forces in columns, shearing and bending forces in lintels, span and support moments in floor slabs were determined. As a result of the DCS calculation, reinforcement of all load-bearing elements was assigned. The calculations of load-bearing structures are focused on the use of the finite element method in the form of the displacement method (FEM). The division of the plate elements of the building into finite elements is assigned taking into account that the internal forces determined by the calculation in the center of each finite element correspond to the actual operation of the structure. In the design diagram, the connections between foundations, columns and floors are assumed to be rigid. The calculation of the floors was carried out for the total load, taking into account the dead weight of the structure of the slab, floor, partitions, equipment, people, taking into account the corresponding overload coefficients for strength and crack resistance. As a result of the DCS calculation, reinforcement of all load-bearing elements was assigned. The calculation was carried out taking into account the joint work of all building structures, foundations and the base of the building. To take into account the joint work of building structures with the foundation at the level of the bottom of the piles, elastic connections were introduced into the calculation scheme, simulating the elastic work of the soil and uneven settlement. 6 f. description and justification of technical solutions that ensure the necessary strength, stability, spatial immutability of buildings and structures of a capital construction project as a whole, as well as their individual structural elements, assemblies, parts during the manufacturing, transportation, construction and operation of a capital construction project. The spatial rigidity of the ACB is ensured by the horizontal discs of the floors and the rigidity of the frame. Stair units form the rigid core of the building. To absorb the pushing force in the walls and columns, at the places where they interface with the floor slab, capitals are provided. The spacing of load-bearing columns and piers is irregular and is dictated by architectural requirements. The immutability of the arena's metal covering is ensured by a continuous disk formed by the flooring, fixed to the purlins. The purlins secure the upper chords of the trusses. The upper and lower chords of the trusses are decoupled from the plane by vertical braced trusses and spacers.

This page of the online store of the Sports Technologies company provides information on the comprehensive equipment of indoor athletics arenas. Such work is divided into two types:

  1. Complete turnkey equipment of the arena for newly built facilities, facilities after reconstruction or repair.
  2. Retrofitting, completing or updating existing equipment and inventory.

Athletics arenas are indoor sports facilities with a multifunctional sports core for conducting training sessions and athletics competitions.

In accordance with the requirements of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), the athletics arena is a class V structure. It usually includes the following elements:

  • main arena;
  • Gym;
  • general physical training hall;
  • acrobatics hall;
  • massage;
  • administrative block.

The main arena houses the following objects:

  • oval circular running track 200 meters long;
  • straight tracks 60 meters long for sprinting and hurdles;
  • training treadmills (for practicing the start, developing speed qualities);
  • sectors for shot put, javelin, discus and hammer throw;
  • sectors for long jumps, high jumps and pole vaults.

Next to the indoor facility there is an outdoor sports infrastructure: running tracks for training and competitions in the summer, various outdoor playing fields, outdoor exercise equipment, etc.

According to IAAF requirements, competitive athletics arenas must be equipped with:

  • Equipment for timing, photo finish and false start.
  • An information board with electronic means of measuring and displaying the result, as well as the output of operational information to a central computer.

Since 1995, the IAAF has approved uniform standards in the construction and operation of sports facilities. In accordance with them, the comprehensive equipment of athletics arenas includes the following sequence of work:

  1. Drawing up picking lists, placement plans (if necessary) and estimates, assistance in preparing technical specifications for the purchase (if necessary), providing data for the sports facility passport.
  2. Laying sports flooring. It is necessary to lay many types of coatings simultaneously, depending on the purpose of the sector or room. Modern coatings should dampen the negative impact of intense loads on the musculoskeletal system and at the same time facilitate the development of necessary skills. For example, the standards provide for a landfill with coatings that have different elastic-dynamic properties.
  3. Installation of stands (stationary, prefabricated, collapsible, telescopic, etc.), tunnels, referee seats, etc.
  4. Installation of sports equipment (linear-modular equipment for assessing running technique, athletics stands and bars, barriers for running, starting blocks, barrier and dividing nets, marking of sports fields, as well as complex equipment for gyms, general physical training halls, acrobatics, etc.) .
  5. Arrangement of locker rooms and equipment storage areas, supply of athletics accessories, throwing equipment and other sports equipment, as well as safety, matting and children's mats.
  6. Testing equipment in test mode.
  7. Delivery and acceptance of work.

When carrying out complex equipment of athletics arenas, we take into account four important factors:

  1. Quality. The issue of ensuring compliance of such facilities with Russian and international standards requires an expert level of knowledge, since the Russian SNiPs currently used (SNiP 2.08.02-85, SNiP 11-76-78 “Sports Facilities”, VNS 46-86 “Sports and Physical Education health facilities"), and new applications to them have significant features and some differences with the IAAF requirements.
  2. Safety. Compliance with safety requirements, c. incl. standards SP 332.1325800.2017. Athletic facilities. Design rules.
  3. Functional. Taking into account all the requirements of the IAAF, ARAF (All-Russian Athletics Federation), requirements for sports and parameters of technical compatibility of equipment, requirements for the size and zoning of various training areas and adjacent premises.
  4. Budget. The correct choice of configuration options, based on the purpose: universal or special, and the level (amateur, professional, international class) of the athletics arena.

Without special training and experience, it is almost impossible to competently combine these factors. Trust us: we will solve all organizational issues ourselves, select the necessary equipment in accordance with the technical requirements of the project, as well as the requirements of the IAAF, ARAF, SP and GOST R, and as a result draw up a competent specification (pick list), combining many groups of equipment and inventory for different types sports

The athletics arena is an ideal place for interval running training, as well as training in off-season conditions and bad weather. For everyone who trains in Moscow or St. Petersburg, and for guests of both capitals, we have prepared a review of 16 athletics arenas in Moscow and St. Petersburg with detailed information about admission, subscriptions, opening hours and facilities of the arenas.

Playpens in Moscow and the Moscow region

1. Moskvich Sports Palace

The arena is located on the 4th floor of the Sports Palace, the hall is very bright due to the huge panoramic windows. There are three circular tracks 200 m long (1 lap) and three straight tracks 110 m long. The tartan is relatively fresh (changed in 2013-2014), soft, the turn is correct. However, some runners warn about the large number of children in the arena itself, which are distributed chaotically. On weekends there are much fewer people, especially in the first half of the day.

There are several horizontal bars, mats, barriers, wall bars, and some iron. There is plenty of room for warm-ups, children's baseball teams often practice inside the ring, and despite the fact that the net is stretched around the entire perimeter, balls from cannons are occasionally shot into it or children can hit those running along the first path. The temperature inside the room is comfortable - 18-20C, but during rush hour it becomes hot and stuffy, especially during fast work such as intervals and long repetitions.

In the locker rooms there are lockers that are locked with a key. They are very roomy: one of these can easily fit a 40-liter backpack with winter shoes. There are also clean showers without partitions. There is a cafe, massage and beauty parlors, and a sports equipment store.

The arena is located on the top floor of the sports complex and includes three running tracks in a circle 200 m long, two straight tracks 80 m long, four wrestling mats, a strength training sector, 2 tennis courts (fenced with a net) and a climbing wall.

The coating is rubber, hard. The turn is very steep, irregular, with a large angle of inclination - it is very difficult to run long tempo segments and your right leg can hurt. The warm-up track is highlighted in green. There are several horizontal bars, Swedish walls, old barriers, and not enough space to warm up.

The runner should arrive at the arena after 17:00, when the student classes end. Accordingly, on Saturday it’s also not crowded until 15:00. It's cold inside, especially in the cold in winter, so it's better to take warm clothes with you to warm up, otherwise you might catch a cold. On the other hand, it is comfortable to carry out intense training. Ventilation is natural, there are no air conditioners, balconies are opened for ventilation.

You can use small locker rooms, which are not always clean, and Soviet coded lockers. There is never any toilet paper in the playpen toilet; it can only be found in the toilet on the first floor in the hall. Logical? Unfortunately no. There is a shower room that is not separated by cubicles.

The running area has three tracks that make up a standard 200 m circle, four straight lines of 100 m each, sectors for the long jump and shot put.

9. Sports Palace of the National Research University MGSU

The Sports Palace at the Construction University was built quite recently - in 2015. For runners there is a standard 200 m circuit, divided, like in CSKA, into six tracks. Inside there are eight more tracks of 110 meters each for hurdles, sectors for shot put, high and long jumps, and discus throwing.

The room itself is very spacious and light due to the glass dome overhead. It would be a complete pleasure to train here, if not for one “but”. When the arena opened, its leaders assured that “not only students of the National Research University MGSU, but also everyone will be able to train here: professional athletes and residents of Moscow.” However, the path there is still closed for ordinary amateur runners.

Address: Yaroslavskoe highway, 26, room 11. Travel from the VDNH metro station by buses No. 172, 244, 136, trolleybus No. 76 to the stop "Veshnih Vody Street", or by minibus No. 344 to the stop "Palace of Sports of MGSU".

10. Athletics arena of Moscow State University

It has been undergoing major renovations since 2016. Perhaps, after opening, people will be allowed in only with documents from Moscow State University. This practice is already working in the Three Hall building opposite. It would be useful to remind readers about the playpen.

Before this, the premises were restored in the early 2000s and opened in 2005. The condition of the hall was good, the new tartan turned out to be of high quality, but there was no ventilation system at all. We always ran with the windows open, including in winter. For athletes, there were two tracks in a circle + a narrow inner track for warming up, three straight lines for running at a distance of 50 m. By the time it closed, the running surface was very dull, and there were patches in places. Inside the ring was a blue tartan track for the long jump. It was possible to use barriers, mats, wall bars, horizontal bars, and jumping stands. On the ground floor there was a gym, where there were old but reliable exercise machines, a barbell, and a short bar.

It was very busy in the winter, since not only the central section of the LA trained there, but also all the physical education groups of Moscow State University.

Changing rooms with lockers were located on the second floor. There were no showers, only a toilet. By the time they closed in May 2016, they were in deplorable condition.

11. Universal sports complex "Podmoskovye"

The complex is relatively young, it was built only 15 years ago. The arena offers four circular tracks of 200 m each and three straight tracks of 50 m each. In the center there is a parquet area of 20/40 m, separated by a net on only one side: behind it there is a sector for high and long jumps. Therefore, when there is a training session, for example, in mini-football, running is prohibited. In addition, USC is the main training ground for children's and youth sports schools, so finding a convenient time for your own training will not be easy. This issue should be discussed with the administration in advance.

The arena has bright and clean changing rooms for 100 people, lockers are locked, there are showers, a gym, a massage room, a sauna, a children's playroom, and a buffet.

Playpen of St. Petersburg

1. Sports complex named after A.V. Alekseeva

The only place in the city that is open to joggers. There are three 200-meter tracks and six 100-meter sprint straights in a circle. The turn has the correct vertical slope, the Mondo coating allows you to practice in spiked shoes. In addition, the main arena contains a throwing sector for the javelin, discus, and shot put; sector for high jump, long jump, and pole vault; general physical fitness and strength training sector. And, of course, there are barriers, starting blocks, wall bars, horizontal bars, barbells and weights, mats, etc.

Usually the room temperature is very comfortable, there are air conditioners, it only gets hot during peak hours. In the center of the ring there is a playing field with a boundary net for football players, so after 19:00 it becomes scary to run along the inner track.

There are men's and women's locker rooms with more than 100 seats each, and lockers are magnetically locked. Showers are not always clean, there are not enough of them. There are working hair dryers, a children's room, a massage room and a dining room. From personal experience, when buying a ticket or subscription, you don’t need to show any documents, just sign in the book that you have no contraindications for playing sports, and go ahead.

Address: Raevsky Avenue, 16, metro station "Polytechnicheskaya". When exiting the metro, cross the road, follow straight along a small street next to the Institute of Cytology, at the intersection turn left to Vernadsky Street, and then there are 200 m left to the goal.

2. Manege “Winter Stadium”

The Mikhailovsky Manege was built in 1800 and served for a whole century, until 1917, as the main training ground for the guard troops and the St. Petersburg garrison. In the middle of the last century it was turned into an indoor Winter Stadium.

Now there is everything that track and field athletes may need: four 200 m running tracks, one warm-up track inside the bowl and four straight lines with a standard length of 110 m. The Mondo surface is very elastic and hard, the turns are sharp (with a large angle of attack) - it takes time to get used to it. There are exactly as many warm-up zones, sectors, and equipment as needed. To make everyone comfortable.

The arena is busy in the morning from 10:00 to 12:00, then there is a lunch break, and after 16:30 training for professionals and children's groups begins until the evening. On Saturday and Sunday it is either closed or there are competitions. Overall, our impressions of the Winter Stadium are positive: the showers are clean, the spacious locker rooms have been well renovated. It’s a pity that there are no lockers for clothes; you have to take them to the stands. Outerwear can be returned to the cloakroom.

Getting into the stadium is a different story. In order to study in the “winter” territory, you need a special pass. It can be obtained in several cases: to be part of the St. Petersburg athletics team, to be enrolled in sports schools or to be a student at a sports university (they train together with a university teacher), or to belong to running clubs that have entered into a contract with the administration of the Winter Stadium. (for example, "Second Wind").

Opening hours: from 9:00 to 20:00. On Saturday and Sunday it is closed or there are competitions.

Address: Manezhnaya Square, 2. Exit from the Gostiny Dvor metro station. You need to cross Nevsky Prospekt via the underground passage and turn onto the street. Malaya Sadovaya. It will lead to the square where the Winter Stadium stands.

3. Manege "Gazprom"

The arena, which opened in 2014, was supposed to become a home for St. Petersburg athletes and city residents where they could train and practice in various sections. And indeed, everything was done to perfection: the “powder-coated” coating is elastic, the ideal gentle turn with a slight slope. Six running tracks in a circle 200 meters long, a warm-up track outside the ring, eight straight lines 60 meters long. The arena is equipped with sectors for high jump, long jump and pole jump, and a sector for shot put.

“The best arena in the city,” is what some local athletes say about it. However, not everyone can get here: entry is strictly by pass, and it is impossible to pay on the spot. Since 2016, entry to amateurs and running clubs for money has been closed, as they say, neither to themselves nor to people.

Dressing rooms for women and men with large lockers that are locked with a key. The showers are spacious, there is an area with a hammam, a massage room, a physiotherapy room, and a cafe with an inexpensive price tag.

Opening hours: on weekdays from 8:00 to 21:00, on weekends from 9:00 to 21:00.

Address: Tennis Alley, 3, lit. A. On foot from the Krestovsky Island metro station through Primorsky Victory Park, travel time 15-20 minutes. Return transportation of athletes by bus to the metro station is available.

4. Sports complex "Dynamo"

The arena is an elongated tunnel (gut) 120 m long, divided into four running tracks. The coating is very hard. At the end of the surface there is a pit for jumping, along it there are a pair of Swedish walls, and this is where the warm-up area ends. It is difficult to conduct a full-fledged running training here, except for general physical training, SBU and group exercises. And, frankly speaking, the place is dead.

At Dynamo, many sports sections conduct their classes. It’s clear that the gym is small, the trainees are cramped, and on the tracks you can meet not only runners, but also people from figure skating or archery. Sports equipment - barriers, balls, mats - have long since become dilapidated and worn out.

Upon entry, you can check out your outerwear in the cloakroom. But in locker rooms where there are no lockers, it is better not to leave your change, but to take everything with you.

Price:

  • one-time visit: 100 rubles;
  • subscription: not provided.

Opening hours: daily from 8:00 to 23:00.

Address: Dynamo Ave., 44, lit. A, exit from the Krestovsky Island metro station, then walk along the street. Ryukhin to the intersection with Krestovsky Prospekt, turn left and walk 300 to the sports complex.

5. Cycling track on Krestovsky

At the lower level of the cycling track there are three 200 m running tracks. The tennis courts located inside the running ring create a feeling of tightness and crampedness; there is not much space for physical training. Access only with a sports club.

Cost: about 200-300 rubles.

Opening hours: daily from 7:00 to 23:00.

Address: Northern Road, 12. Walk from the Krestovsky Island metro station through Primorsky Victory Park, travel time 15-20 minutes.
